We have been to the fire pit several times and the food and experience have always been great. My 3 year old grandson, who lives in Denver, loves going there on the 163 bus, and always eats his fill. The hosts are never concerned about the child exuberance, and a few extra dollars in the tip jar also goes a long way. The ribs fall apart in your mouth, and the chicken is delicious. I’ve ordered food from Firepit for a few years now. But lately, the food quality has been going down and the portions are MUCH LESS. Very disappointed since this place was my go-to for several occasions I’ve hosted at home.
It's a hole in the wall which is fine. They brought the food out which was fine. BBQ was too salty. Black Beans and Rice, that was weird. This was a weird experience, will most likely not return.
Decent BBQ definitely not the best, just stick with the meat. It's not bad but it's not great. Sides need work.
