This is for the patients to see so I'll put the reason here. He was rude and came up with a conclusion of what my problem was within literally 3 minutes of talking to me. He also told me previous doctors were wrong and I didn't have the disorder that I was diagnosed with and blood work clearly showed.
My mother has a debilitating disease that is almost left her completely unable to care for herself after going to Rush and seeing several doctors. No one could figure out what was wrong. This doctor ordered a test that no other doctor had ordered out of all of the blood test and discovered that she had hepatitis C . This test he ordered saved my mother‘s life. I don’t know what made him order this test, but the way he played detective work and helped her. I am eternally grateful.
I'm reading these reviews and gotta say I'm stunned. I've been bringing my mom to him for years and we both believe he's by far one of the very best doctors anywhere. First visit, he assessed my mom (correctly!) and began aggressive treatment, literally saving her vision from permanent loss. He's a good listener and we trust his medical knowledge unequivocally. The only downside is he's not a general practioner so he can't be our PCP. Our loss.
