I was walking around Washington Square park all day and happened to walk by Fiorello La Guardia Park on my way to lunch. It is a long narrow park with some seating on La Guardia Place from w 3rd to Bleecker. In the middle is a small playground and a statue of Fiorello La Guardia. Pleasanton but nothing to see here.

There used to be thousands of Fiorello La Guardia on this island before the Dutch concurred it. This may be the last one in existence
I needed a shaded, quiet place to sit and this place delivered. Benches look well-maintained. Statue of Fiorello LaGuardia is amusing.
