I had a positive experience with Dr. McConville and her staff. The staff were always welcoming and they knew me by name after my first appointment. Dr. McConville was always positive and took the time to answer my questions. Wait times were usually minimal. If I do have another baby I would definitely want her to be my OB again.
I’ve had two pregnancies with dr mcconville unfortunately. First pregnancy she was reassuring and very vaginal birth positive. She uplifted me at every appointment and said you are going have an amazing birth. You have the perfect hips for a vaginal birth.. you got this! That pregnancy resulted in a horrifying, traumatic c section where she wasn’t even present but thats the canadian system! Second pregnancy I thought Ill try her again. No one ever picks up the phone and I've noticed someone else leave a review mentioning the same. I've left one detailed message and still haven't received a call back and its been over two weeks. Not to mention, this office failed to provide my info to the hospital I birthed at a few years ago, which left me waiting a few several minutes to get registered while I was in active labor. I was referred to Dr McConville after a traumatic first birth with midwives and follow up miscarriage. I had her for 2 of my children along with some care for ovarian cysts. She took my concerns from my traumatic birth seriously and explained medically the possibilities of why the outcome happened the way it did. With that information she was proactive with my second and third births along with an additional miscarriage and ovarian cysts.
