Dr. Paul is a good egg. He's very hard to read -- he'd be a great poker player -- but he listens and will refer you to specialists without any qualms. Kaiser doesn't give these guys much time, so you have to come prepared with your medical questions. Also, he's very good at responding to e-mails, and that can save you a lot of time and aggravation.
I've never had my own insurance as an adult. So this was my first time trying to find a doctor who i'd see regularly one I could trust and have a good relationship with. Our visit started good - then went down hill pretty quickly when I declined both flu & dtap vaccine. I was asked three time - three times!! why I refused it by this Dr. - who then proceeded to tell you "Oh You will get this today" when I asked why (not even defensive about it) - he said cause I have a new baby coming etc. all valid reasons - here's the probl... read more
Dr. Paul has treated my Grandmother for several years and provided her with excellent care.
Dr. Paul is the best, period! As a wife and mother of four, I am in the doctor's office fairly often. I am always greeted with a smile, sometimes a hug (especially when I need it) and always led through our visit with care and respect. We all want our doctors to be great listeners and to spend sufficient time with us as individuals to truly understand our needs. Dr. Paul does this perfectly EVERY TIME.
