We purchased two new pieces of equipment from these guys this last winter, a brand new 255 skid steer and a new 306 excavator. Sales team was easy to work with and helpful whenever we had a question. But the thing that really sticks in my mind is our experience with the service department. The 255 was a brand new model so there have been a lot of kinks and issues to iron out that finning is learning about and figuring out as they go. Did a hotshot for Finning out of their Fort St John location to the Red Deer location back in June of 2024. Have been fighting to get paid from Finning for 6 MONTHS. So from a vendor perspective, we caution other companies to get payment upfront or refuse to offer your services.
Finning Canada uses Contractors who do not pay their bills and they are okay with that. Will not do any work with or at finning anymore. Also won’t be adding any finning machines to my fleet.
