My husband used this activity for a anniversary surprise. We had talked about doing this for years. It was an easy peddling ride and you get educated on the surrounding towns, lakes and locals as you ride. It was fun and educational. My husband and I definitely recommend this to EVERYONE.
My husband and I came up to visit relatives and decided to try this out. It was an amazing experience! Our guide, Erin, was very knowledgeable, funny, and had the best dad jokes! A must do activity for couples or families!
A must do if you are in the area. The staff was super friendly, fun and very passionate about providing a great experience. We learned a lot about the history of the area we would not have known otherwise. The ride was smooth and the design of the bikes were well thought out regarding safety & comfort. There were no bumps or obstacles. I have moderate spinal issues & had no problem participating with 2 persons per bike.
Finger Lakes Rail Riders is an excellent way to spend an hour or two! The "tandem bikes" pedal as smooth as silk along a very level rail. The owner and staff think of everything to make this an excellent experience. Dwayne, our guide, was funny, personable, kind, and knowledgeable. We happened to pick a perfect day - low 80's, sunshine with puffy clouds for some occasional shade, and low humidity.
