I have had 2 extremely terrifying, painful, and traumatizing experiences with dental work previously, i had avoided the dentist for years but was experiencing pain and came in, they were incredibly patient with me, they trusted me when i told them i was feeling pain not just pressure during fillings and did give me more numbing agents so i wasnt in pain, they did not try to pry my jaw open more than it can, and they let me take breaks when i needed.
