The little treasure shop filled with junk you don't need but buy anyway La Mesa Collectibles is one of those stores that if you are visiting San Diego and have to send souvenirs back home, you should go there first, because you will be able to buy something for everyone on your list at low, affordable prices. This is what I like to call a “junk” store. It sells all of the little items that no one really needs, but everyone buys, which clutter the shelves, dresser tops, and tables in our homes. CAUTION! I inherited some guns recently and didn't know where to go. I went to Fine Firearms. Everyone was so nice... at first. They told me where to go to sell them myself. Then suggested that I come into their store for the private party transfers. I had done two transfers with them, and they were great. I went in today to do another transfer, and the owner said he wouldn't do it. He also said that everyone was only nice to me because they thought I would consign some of my guns with them. Collectibles Collectibles is a very fun crafty placve to go if you love collecting items or just need a few suviners. Everything is cheaply priced but for great quality

Well worth a visit When my home burned to the ground in the San Diego Wild Fires, all the papers in my safe burned up and all my target pistols got very hot. Some were partly melted other just changed color. I called 4 stores with highly reputed gun smiths and every one said throw them all out and would not even take take the time to look at them. A friend told me to try Fine Firearms and their smith at the time was Mark Shaw. He examined all the guns and the condition of their springs told him how badly each had been damage... read more
