We love visiting Bardstown, but we are really travelling to visit Jim and Jeannette, as they share such wonderful stories about Jim's artwork and their life together! On each visit, we are delighted when we find a watercolor piece or two that we cannot walk away without adding to our collection!

Not only is this a gem of an art studio, Jim and Janette are amazing people. We are so blessed to have them as part of our community. It is a must see in Bardstown.
Yesterday, I went on a treasure hunt and found a gem in Bardstown, Kentucky. The art gallery and studio of Jim Cantrell is a place that you will not want to miss. Mrs. Cantrell gave a delightful and informative tour of Mr. Cantrell's works. I especially enjoyed his creations during the Bostonian, Mylar phase of his artistic journey. I now have a deeper understanding of Mr. Cantrell's enormous talents.
