We had an outstanding experience with john Stevens at the at the forest department/ find outdoor even before our hike began. Prior to our Arkaquah Trail hike, I called a number and had to leave a voicemail. John diligently called back, took the time to help us over the phone and provided incredibly valuable insights about the trail, parking, camping options, water availability, and overall hiking conditions. Lake Winfield Scott - I'm not sure if your organization is responsible for maintenance of the Lake Winfield Scott recreation area, but it is really in need of some attention. I was saddened to see it such a mismanaged state. It used to be so much nicer.
A great organization that offers a lot of educational programs about the outdoors. Helpful and friendly staff.
