Really not happy with this mortgage. They have my flood insurance money hostage. I was hit by hurricane Helene. Its been over 11 days since they received my house inspection which should allow release of my funds. I told them how bad I need this money so I can finish house up but they said there is nothing they can do and its still under manager review. My loan was transferred to this company a year ago. I have to say everything was good until today. I reached out to them to explain I have an emergency surgery coming up. I will be out of work for 8 weeks. My question is simple, during my recovery time, I will need some time a forbearance. I was advised the only way they can consider this option is by me not paying my loan letting it go past 30 days due and they will report negative to the credit bureaus the non payment. Well, wtf. If I could give them a 0 I would. They fail to explain things to you, they make everything sound good and then they screw you over in the end! Horrible mortgage company, terrible experience!
I would give zero stars if it was an option… their loss draft department and process is the absolute worst and slowest inconsiderate process I’ve ever been apart of… my house has been 100 percent completed for months now and still haven’t recieved MY insurance claim check. They can’t even send a real inspector to my house to do the inspection. They do it “virtually” where I have to take my own photos and email them into them. If I can put no stars i would. This company lies so much and makes stuff up as they go. They make up policy just so they won't help you. THE CUSTOMER SERVICE IS HORRIBLE.. IF YOU HAVE A CHOOSE DON'T USE THIS COMPANY.
