Don't bother applying for a mortgage here. I applied for a loan, got approved, and worked everything out with the lender, Lisa Wood. I told her my budget, how much money I had saved, and how much I was willing to spend on a down payment. I got a pre approval letter, put in an offer, and it was accepted. The day before closing, Lisa says "by the way, I need 35k from you as a down payment".
