We had a very positive experience at Final Gift. They treated our dog with the utmost respect, compassion, and dignity throughout the entire process. The facility is beautiful, and the private viewing was peaceful and comforting. Seeing her looking so peaceful meant the world to us. We were able to say our final goodbyes and give her the sendoff she truly deserved. We are deeply grateful for the care and kindness they showed our beloved girl during her final journey. I have to start this by saying that the staff was very kind and professional, but the way they monetize grief is just sad. My dog was 40lbs and they charged over $400. That might just be the going rate. We have never cremated a pet, but we are not sure if we want to stay on the island and we want to be able to take him wherever we go. When I spoke to them to finalize I asked the woman if she could just save a clipping of his fur as our vet was going to and in all of the emotions we forgot. I’ve had all of my pets cremated thru regency! Staff was kind and helpful when I called for updates on our baby and the process was super quick! We got our baby back in 4 days. We are thankful for their help and commitment to get us reunited with our baby kitty as quick as possible 🩷.
