A highly-rated dentist in Northern Virginia told me I needed $2,505 worth of work on a crown because of decay beneath it. First, the kind dental assistants at Fina said the charge for another x-ray would be waived because my insurance wouldn't pay for it. On March 31st I had a dental appointment with Dr. Fina for a possible tooth extraction. From early childhood most of my dental experiences have been very painful (some intentionally so). With great trepidation I asked Dr. Fina if he would please "super numb" me. Without hesitation he said yes! Jenny, one of his assistants, came to check to see how the numbing process was coming along.
