I've been going to Filament for years. It's taken a lifetime to find a hair shape that works for me and I don't have the kind of cut that would emphasize my wave pattern, but it works for me and I feel like Filament's stylists get that. Poor boundaries and communication from management. I believe I overpaid for my haircut and also noticed unevenness that needed to be fixed. During my initial appointment, there was noticeable negativity and what appeared to be workplace drama, which made me feel very uncomfortable. Because of this, I did not feel at ease addressing my concerns directly with the stylist. Amazing experience! I first discovered this salon after I cut my own hair into a mess, and my hairstylist fixed it to perfection exactly how I needed it!! I’ve now visited this salon three times and it has officially become the salon I will stay loyal to.

This haircut was a mess. I asked for face framing and long layers. I tried telling my stylist multiple times that I wanted my hair blended more. They were really unreceptive. They had a client waiting in the other chair so I believe they were trying to rush. I wasn’t a walk-in. My appointment was prescheduled. They told me it is as blended as they can get it without cutting the shorter part shorter (?) and that it was the fault of my last hairdresser (it wasn’t).
