We are making the change from a business centered around vanity to a community committed to supporting self-care and self-love. Fika means to slow down and enjoy the greater things in life so we invite you to come and experience a space not about looking like everyone else but about looking and feeling your best self. My first visit was the best. The place is located 5 minutes from my house in Kanata. I booked ahead of time and called to ask the reason the prices were different. Found out I booked a wash and style instead of a wash, style and cut. So glad they picked that up before I arrived. Whew!!! The products are natural which I love. The environment is relaxing, bright and modern.
This place is amazing! I have been looking for a hair dresser since moving here 3 years ago, and have tried a couple of different salons. I went to Fika today and it is the first time in 3 years that I actually love my hair. I had Natasha and she did such an amazing job. She nailed the colour I was looking for. I have definitely found my new hair salon, and would recommend this place to everyone.
This salon is such a VIBE! The decor, amazing music, and all around atmosphere is 10/10! I got a treatment/shampoo/cut by Marieve and I am obsessed with my new hair. She’s also so sweet and lovely to chat to! I can’t recommend Fika enough!!
I love Fika! I have been a client of Shannon’s for years, but today I had Maria cut my hair. She did a phenomenal job. I don’t think you can go wrong with whoever you see !
Annie did my nails with the GelX process today instead of the usual dip process. She patiently explained the differences and advantages & disadvantages. She helped me select the perfect colour. Annie is always so welcoming and positive, and she has a good sense of humour, too! I had a lovely hand massage with Tegan, a new trainee. I can't wait for my next appointment! I highly recommend Fika.
