Try the Short Rib Pappardelle! Excellent location - I used to live in Beacon Hill and it will always be my favorite Boston neighborhood. Figs is a Todd English restaurant and is known for it's pizza. The service there - even on a Monday afternoon - isn't the greatest but it's Boston. What do you expect? We stood around for a long time to be seated. Tables are crammed in tightly together. But the food was worth it! I had the Slow Braised Short Rib Pappardelle - delicious!!!
excellent pizza and wine I was a little leary when I heard about the unique pizza toppings but decided to try it out and I am so glad I did! Great pizza with great wine!

The restaurant is small and can have lines or Friday and Saturday, but the unique format is worth the wait! Figs specializes in gourmet pizzas with unique toppings (think specialty cheeses, fruits, cured meats, etc.) with wine paring suggestions. The interior is not exactly new, but this is a great place for a quiet date or a girls night out. The pizzas are $13-$20 and can be shared.
