I would not recommend using Fig & Bloom for a wedding/elopement cake. We ordered the cake online 2 months in advance with no customization. We called and emailed multiple times to ask for the "just married" to be a different color and it took weeks to get a response. The day we were supposed to pick up the cake they texted us to say they weren't open. This was the day before we got married. My husband had to go back and forth with them until they ultimately gave him the lockbox code so he could let himself into their bakery ... read more
I used Fig & Bloom for my wedding cake and it was absolutely beautiful, delicious, and they were incredibly easy to work and communicate with. We ordered the Classic round Almond and Raspberry Cake. I was planning my small hiking wedding while living in FL and they were so easy and reliable. I was able to send my uncle in to pick up the cake while we were hiking. Terrible customer service. I ordered a cake online the other day and have been trying to get in touch with them via phone and email to confirm the delivery time so I can notify the person I'm sending it to. Obviously I want to make sure they're home and can accept the delivery. No one answers the phone. No one answers the email. No one responds to voicemails. We ordered the vintage fig & bloom 9in heart shaped cake for our microwedding of 18 ppl. The cake was out of this world and the butter frosting was to die for! Delicious and beautiful. They delivered to our Airbnb in mountain village on time and the cake was beautiful. The only thing I wish would have been different would be a simple courtesy call at least 48hrs in advance to ensure everything was on schedule, mainly for peace of mind considering it was our wedding cake. Fig & Bloom did an absolutely fantastic job with our wedding cake! It was both beautiful and insanely delicious! Also, our venue was several miles down a bumpy road and they managed to deliver it in perfect condition. 10/10 recommend!
