I live in Fallbrook, so there aren't very many bars around that I like. Most are just not my scene. Since San Diego is a bit of a drive, I prefer to have drinks in San Marcos and Carslbad. Of all the bars I go to the 55 Yardline is my favorite. The people here are friendly and actually remember my usual order when I come in. It doesn't feel like an actual bar, but more like a place for adults to hang out, which I like. A very cool bar.

One of the reasons I prefer this bar over others is the food. Although it is your typical pub style menu, it's actually really good. They have the best tasting food I've had at any bar in this area.

I went bar hopping with some friends for one of their birthdays. We stopped by this bar first and it ended up being my favorite of the night. It's big and there is a lot to do. It isn't one of those "hole-in-the-wall" bars. You could actually come here to watch tv, shoot pool, eat, etc. It isn't just a place to come and drink.

I typically hate going to bars. I'm not much a beer drinker and I find most bars are either too loud or too boring. The 55 Yardline is actually an exception for me. The atmosphere is just right, and even on busy nights the crowd doesn't get too rowdy. The waitresses are also nice and don't mind stopping to chat for a couple of minutes. The food is what you would find in a lot of bars, but it tastes far better than said bars. The 55 Yardline is a solid bar. The food is better than the typical bar food and the menu has a lot of different food items. They have a great selection of beer too. The waitresses are friendly and never make any mistakes on my order. I always enjoy coming here. This is the type of place I can bring my girlfriend to on a date night.

This is a cool place to hang out. The food is better than the avergae bar food and they have a great selection of beer. Normally I'm not big on bars but I make an exception for the 55 Yardline. They're worth checking out.
