I’ve been a loyal customer of Fifth Third Bank since I was 16, but I’ll be moving all of my accounts elsewhere after a disappointing experience. I recently tried to help my son open his first checking account, but we were turned away because “there wasn’t enough time” before closing. Ironically, the teller spent five of those remaining minutes giving us the runaround instead of helping us get started. Came in 10 minutes before close, they said they needed 15 to open a checking account.
Gave gave tokens instead of quarters. When the issue was brought up they were very disrespectful. Just wanted to make them aware and instead the mocked the amount.
Great staff that are fast and friendly. They are all very knowledgable about all their available services. Fifth Third offering no fees was the reason we switched to them.
