AWFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE We have banked here since moving 4 years ago. Their banking accounts and online products are great. I couldn't believe my experience today when I went to withdraw cash from my account for an up coming cruise. I was there at 12:10 on Thursday. I requested twenty $50 bills and I was told "you can't have that many because we might run out and there aren't that many in the machine". Do not deposit with this Bank. I have an account with them I have deposited checks in the past with no hold the last check I deposited they put a 10-day hold on even though it is cleared the other person's bank. When I was with another bank they were able to look at whether or not the check cleared the other person's bank and release the hold once it did if I called up. Finally a Bank with Good Customer Service We need some euros for a trip. My husband, a private client, called two different Chase Bank branches but nobody answered the phone calls. Seeing his frustration, I called the Fifth Third Bank on Placida Road, where I have a checking account, and within minutes, my call was answered. The bank employee explained the procedure of securing the euros. The customer would have to order the euros in person and normally the euros are ready for pick up the next day.
