Recently visited this Fifth Third Bank branch to inquire about an auto loan for a new car purchase, and the experience was surprisingly disappointing. The banker we spoke with told us that Fifth Third no longer offers auto loans at all. The lady I initially talked to was friendly and smiling. I asked her to break down bills she said sure but she didn't have access to the vault. I waited for her to get off her lunch break. The main lady who got back was in a bad mood, didn't smile, and refused to break my bills down for smaller ones. She claimed I had to have an account. I have never visited a bank who required me to be an account holder to do money exchanges like breaking down larger bills. Ive been using this bank for 6 years and never had any issues. Everyone is very friendly and helpful whenever I go in.
I called in asking if they offered a medallion stamp and asked if I could come now. The banker on the phone says let me ask my manager, she comes back and said he said yes so I come and the manager very rudely says that he’s to busy today and that he told her to say no. He then looks at the banker and says “I never told you yes, I’m counting the drawer, and the ATM, I can’t”. Have a business account with 5/3. The teller charged me 20.00 twice for cashiers checks and when my statement came out it was another charge for the same amount and when I called they said they would reverse the charge but 5/3 has more hidden charges and fees for every transaction. You can’t even withdraw money from your savings account without experiencing fees. Do not bank with them!!!! Chase, US Bank or Capital One has better business solutions and offer more incentives with cash back when using your cash flow. I’ve been ... read more
