DON'T EVER VISIT A VCA HOSPITAL BEFORE CHECKING THEIR CHARGES. THEY OVERCHARGE EVERY OTHER VET CLINIC BY ABOUT 50%. THERE IS A REAL SERIOUS INFLATION OF CHARGES THAT SHOULD BE POSTED. PLEASE DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND FIND ANOTHER FACILITY.

I want to warn all pet owners thnat although Dr. Stanley may be good, he is NOT ALWAYS THERE, and when he is not you are in big trouble. The girl at the desk would not let me see my pet who was dying,...they were insensitive to pets and their care givers. I agree with other review all they cared about in the Face o Death was their "Estimate" , if you have lots ol money they will save your pet, oltherwise you get the worst treatment. HATE TO TELL MIKi BUT THIS IS PROTOCOL. EVEN THE ASPCA IN NYC REQUEST A CREDIT CARD AND MAKES YOU FILL OUT A FORM BEFORE LOOKING AT YOUR ANIMAL , Animal Medical Center, Blue Pearl, Chelsea Vets all do the same.. . So this review of FAVS is so very unreasonable. Money is not their focus and to tell you too euthanize your pet for lack of such is absurd. To all Pet Owners, this is a VCA hospital based on making money and not caring at all for your pet. They will refuse to treat your beloved pet in an emergency if you don't have money up front and worse than that will tell you to euphanize your pet if you don't have enough money and they feel you may be a risk. Also check the credentials of staff and their certifications. This place is FANTASTIC. The care that my cat is getting is beyond great. I get updates every few hours, they gave me all the treatment options to chose from to fit my budget and spent hours with me explaining about the procedures, risks and everything else I needed to know in order to make an informed decision about my cat.
