What a beautiful few hours I had learning how to make gnocchi. The easy, hands on, relaxed atmosphere was perfect and the clear instruction from Silvana has given me the confidence to try the recipe on my own. To finish the day with a gorgeous lunch made from home grown ingredients and shared with family was the icing on the cake. I felt I was back in Italy! Thank you
We came for a pasta making course and it was so wonderful. Really good teaching and hands on experience. Pasta was amazing and she has many more cooking classes on offer.
We had the most wonderful time learning how to make traditional pasta and sauce. The Fifth Ave sisters went above and beyond to make our day so memorable. The food was delicious and loved spending time with these lovely ladies. Can’t wait to remake the pasta for my family
Italian Night at The Factory Bar in Katoomba was great fun. Big tasting plates of the freshest food. The arancini the absolute best I have tasted, anywhere: little golf ball-sized bites packed with deliciousness. Worth a return visit on their own. The venue is funky, unfussy and intimate. The local gin and wine was great and well-priced. All in all a fabulous night out with friends.
We learnt how to preserve and forage for edible mushrooms in the pine forest under the expert guidance of Silvana, Maria and Antonella. The foraging was so fun and having their expertise closely on hand gave me the peace of mind to cook and eat them afterwards. They were delicious! Highly recommend this tour if you want to safely learn to forage for edible mushrooms. A great day out.
