I decided to book in my family for a cooking class in the school holidays with Silvana to make home made ravioli! We had such a lovely day and learned a lot. She is a patient, relaxed teacher. The class is run at a small house in Katoomba in a quiet street so don’t expect a big production style venue or restaurant. Our family, along with our friends and our 5 children between us, had the most wonderful private cooking class with Silvana. The experience felt so personal and welcoming from the moment we arrived. Silvana and her sister put so much love and care into every detail, from the beautifully prepared ingredients to sharing stories about their family, their parents, their Italian heritage, and their lives between Italy and Silvana’s lovely cottage in Katoomba. i had a wonderful day with silvana mushroom foraging in hamptons. she was friendly, engaging and knowledgable. it was a thoroughly enjoyable experience. the lunch provided was delicious and it felt like a day out with a friend. i would absolutely recommend this!
