I had my first tooth pulled today. I was very nervous. The office staff explained each step and patiently repeated some instructions. Dr Pavelka makes you comfortable. He explains everything completely. He does not rush you or seem short on time. You feel like you are important to them. I will definitely use him again.
The staff here are very exceptional. Everyone from the front desk, to the assistants, and the oral surgeon himself. I came in shaking with anxiety and fear from all the stories people told me about getting a tooth extraction, but the staff did an excellent job. They listened to all my concerns and gave me the reassurance I needed. I would highly recommend this place to everyone especially to people with past bad dental experiences.
I was quite apprehensive as I haven't had a tooth pulled in 10+ years. That time, it was a good experience and I had little post op pain. This experience was good although I took two Tylenol for a little pain. I'm still bleeding but that may go on the rest of the day. My jaw is getting tired trying to keep the gauze in place...
I knew I was anxious when I came in. My blood pressure showed it. But once interacting with personnel it didn't take long to relax. Everything went smoothly and painlessly.
