Movie Set The movie was great and now you can visit the baseball diamond yourself! You can visit the Langsing familys farm and see the field and house that was in the movie in 1989. You can go hit a few on the field with bats that are provided. There are two souvenir stands to purchase shirts and hats at the Concession Stand. A must is the Is this Heaven? No its Iowa, saying on a shirt.
Have to Visit At Least Once This is one of the biggest tourist attractions in Iowa. But the locals love to make the pilgrimage out to the fields too. Were local and we love going to see the Ghost Players perform every summer. They perform the last Sunday of each summer month and are fantastic to see. They really do a great job getting the crowd involved and the kids have fun taking their turn at bat.

It is really cool to get to see this. It is outside of town. When you come to the two driveways, take the further of the two. This is the location with the house you see in the movie.
