Heather does not have the appropriate staffing to close on a house I am in escrow with. A day before closing, I am alerted that she does not have a notary and she is in between offices so I have to pay an extra fee for her to hire an outside notary. Has been hard to work with, would not recommend.
After purchasing a lot in Truckee, the planning department determined it was illegally sub-divided in 1968. Fidelity couldn't provide docs prior to 2000 on the property so we had to go dig up files in the Recorders office. Isn't the point of title insurance to ensure you are buying something legitimate?? The team at Fidelity was no help during the process. Eventually we had to pay for a certificate of compliance to build our house but a lot of headaches could have been avoided if Fidelity had done their job.
Absolute worst customer service experience of my life. Got yelled at over the phone for something her assistant did with my confidential information (sharing it with someone they shouldn’t have) when they were in the wrong. Do NOT use this company use anyone else. Save yourself they headache and dealing with unprofessional rude people.
