Had to come in 6-7 times to do something I was told “could be done over the phone.” After each step I had to wait 7+ business days for funds to clear. Would be told one thing and then after waiting 10 days would come back to do the next step only to find out that what they told me was wrong…which would lead to another step and another waiting period. The worst financial institution I have ever dealt with outside of third world countries. They will never deliver what they promise and there is always misunderstanding and miscommunication, if you want to get any trading account operation info better don't ask here or you might lose a lots of time and money! They need like 9 days to deposit your money?!?!?

I've been with Fidelity for years and moved multiple times, so I've worked with Fidelity offices in LA, Chicago and DC. This is by far the worst branch for customer service. Young, entitled staff with attitude. Advisors who don't follow up on their promises. And apparently, no managers -- or managers who don't care. For the first time in 30 years, I've been searching for a new brokerage firm.
