I have had an account at Fidelity for 40 years. The Backbay Branch has to be the worst Fidelity has. I was assigned a Financial Advisor (whom I didn't select) who turned out to be a disaster. When I called to change Advisors, after 15 minutes I was told they couldn't find anyone, but the one I wanted to dump insisted on talking to me. I hung up. He tried calling me even though my account has a "Do not call" on it. I warn everyone not to go near this guy and try to use another Branch if possible. Horrid Branch. Since dumping ... read more
Today I went to the investment daughters to ask for some information about the market, I was very poorly served
They some how lost trades I requested then when questioned I was put on hold and eventually hung up on over and over again and this is with their so called premium service
Fidelity is great! I’m definitely making money (after learning a few lessons and making some mistakes here and there). My only issue in the last year was purchasing a foreign stock and I was charged a fee on the back end for that purchase, Fidelity noted there isn’t a mechanism to warn you there’s a fee for individual stocks. After a few phone calls I did get the fee reversed, so I think adding a warning / prompt about extra fees would be a great idea. Otherwise it’s a great app and easy to use!
