It has been a year since our boy Tater came to Dr Katie with massive and sudden weight loss. We did have to go to an emergency vet in Mt Pleasant, but once he was diagnosed with Feline infectious peritonitis (FIP), Dr Katie went right to work helping us get the medication we needed for him. I was out of town on vacation and my 15 yr old baby had a seizure lasting over 30 mins (she stayed overnight at animal emergency hospital of the strand unfortunately....when I picked her up her prognosis was poor ) a decision was made to help her cross over as the seizures had taken their toll on her , not bring from here I began my search and I was referred to fidelis animal hospital in which I cslled and they made no hesitation to take us in asap not only in but into a room as soon as we arrived .
