Very dismissive and rude, started the appointment by asking "you haven't had any babies, why are you here" and it just went downhill from there. She gave me a pamphlet/patient education booklet about a condition that didn’t match my symptoms, which I brought up to her then and there and she ignored. She did a pelvic exam in front of a scribe I wasn’t asked about whether could be present or not and then didn’t explain any of her findings or give clear follow up instructions. Dr. Paraiso is an amazing Doctor and person. When she heard that I had an Ovarian Mucinous Cystadenoma that needed urgent surgery she squeezed in the surgery we were planning together and collaborated with my other surgeon to do all needed surgeries at once. She personally called me to tell me what was happening and the surgery date. She also had me evaluate ny decision for a hysterectomy and I am glad. Dr Paraiso is AMAZING!! Knowledgeable and compassionate - she answered all of my questions regarding my full pelvic floor reconstruction. Made me feel relaxed prior to my surgery and even played my favorite music and held my hand as I was given anesthesia! Wonderful to my family that accompanied me. I highly recommend!!
