Bad experience, there was an old lady nurse with glasses I believe I couldn’t get her name but she was horribly rude not only to my family but the other two families nearby. If I can find a picture of her by her name I will post it. The lady st the front desk was also horrible her name is alyssa. Does not know how to do her job and has no qualities for her position of service. The doctor however was amazing! I just don’t remember his name, sadly.
I went for a check up after surgery & the nurse practitioner was very rude. She didn't care what I had to say or even how I felt. When I would try to explain things, she had a look on her face that you could tell she didn't want to be there.
RecommendedIt’s only because of the persistence & perseverance of Dr. Schleich, Dr. Barnes & Dr. Mehta that my stage 3 ovarian cancer was found at the age of 29. From onset of concerning symptoms until diagnosis was 4 months, which is amazing due to the very vague symptom I was having. Once I started chemo treatment, Dr. Shaikh also provided top notch care. Other honorable mention doctors throughout my rough care include Dr. Kalnins, Dr. Parks, Cassie Reed & Tami Lasala. I fully trust FHN with my care! Thank you!

I went in for dehydration and the nurse let a foot and a half of air into the IV when she changed it. A few minutes later my heart felt like it was going to explode, which can happen. I pressed the call light and the CNA never got any help, like he said he would. Luckily the air went through and came out with a big belch. My dad yelled at her when it happened but she was too ditzy to understand what she did. I would not recommend that anyone go there.
If my primary physician wasn't so great and local and covered by my insurance, I would never use FHN. I would much rather take an ambulance to a hospital farther away - even in a life and death situation. The billing department is rude, unprofessional, incredibly slow, and harassing. I had procedures and appointments done in January and early Feb. My insurance processed in April - which I received EOBs for and it took FHN an additional 7 months to send a bill. RecommendedI just wanted to thank FHN for the classes they offer. My son and i attended the Sibling class. The nurse who taught us was wonderful. My son learned a lot from this experiance. I recommend any parent who is expecting number two to take your children.
