I have worked in a professional capacity for Dan since 1998. On most projects we communicated directly with the client and I without exception, all references by clients to Dan were more than positive. We designed all of Dan's projects from the time we started working together until 2007 and continue to work together today. Dan does not pay his subs. I staked a home for him last April and since then I have received nothing but excuses and lies about why I have not been paid. There is no disagreement on the work or the amount due - he just refuses to pay. He may do good work, but do not do any subcontract work for Dan.
Dan Atkinson is a crook. I was a subcontractor for him and he stiffed me on over $2300 in work we did for him. Has been telling me for months that he will pay me and when he eventually wrote me a check for half of what he owed me it bounced. Do not hire this guy he is dishonest and shouldn’t be in business.
Dan first built a double car garage for me about 10 years ago and this past summer his crew built a new front deck on my home. Top notch crew and Dan kept me up to date through out both projects.
Dan and the FHB crew built a large double car garage and a screened porch additions onto our family home. The garage and porch are well built and have withstood the recent hot summers and wet winters without an issue. Dan is easy to work with and communicated with us through out the process
