The building its historic charm is what sells this place. Interesting 300+ year building and I think one of the oldest in the area. Small grounds area is pretty and eating on the terrace on a nice summer day is likely a pleasant experience. The food though was a little underwhelming. Very good food undercut by potentially the worst service I’ve ever had. I was disappointed and surprised because it appeared like such a warm and friendly place. Update: While I understand you’re trying to put this on me the truth is no, I did not “curse out” the server. I’m sorry if you’re upset by my brief but accurate review. Can I give six stars for atmosphere? Feels unusual and fancy, but still comfortable and cozy. Staff were friendly, helpful, and engaged. Food was very good. We were there a little on the late side and some of it seemed not quite fresh but it was still tasty.
The staff here is what makes this dining experience unforgettable. They really take care of their customers and the food is to die for! I recommend this spot to anyone traveling or around the area.
