I had the absolute pleasure of meeting Melissa at Fevered Moon, and I can definitely say she’s hair magic! As my hair has gotten wavier with age, it thrives with a shag cut—but finding someone who can truly nail it isn’t easy. Melissa has magic hands. I always love my color and cuts. She cuts my daughter’s curly hair so beautifully. She’s kind, she listens, and we look forward to our appointments with her. Here are some pictures from over the years of her cuts/color on my daughter and myself.

I’m someone who waits ages to cut my hair! By the time I make an appointment, I’m deflated… so is my hair. I choose Melissa everytime because not only is the end result phenomenal (she executes not only based on your direction, but with scientific angles and wizardry only a true professional can do), but I leave feeling uplifted (something only SHE can do)! My hair feels like magic and I’m so grateful

Not only is Melissa amazing at what she does, she made me feel so safe and comfortable from the moment I walked in. I have extreme anxiety about getting my hair done and she listened, never once made me feel judged or uncomfortable, asked before touching my hair and explained everything she was doing before she did it. And at the end, I had the most beautiful haircut I have ever had! She is a wonderful human and fabulous artist.

This woman is phenomenal. She has an electric personality and once you leave her chair you feel like you can take on the world. She is a sorceress with shears. Her knowledge and passion for her craft are unmatched. I receive compliments on my hair everywhere I go. My confidence has never been higher!
