Unsatisfactory transparency during warranty repair process. Equipment was sent via a local distributor, but information was not made available because of company policy. Festool needs to find a way to communicate warranty repair information to the owner in an efficient manner that does not disrupt the process.
After owning many Festools, the MIDI hepa dust extractor hose garage is the least addressed and a dangerous issue. Warranty being 3 years, this plastic becomes brittle and breaks in sharp pieces. Otherwise, the vacuum is awesome! Only issue I’ve had with any Festools!
they leave at 359pm. Do not take a chance driving all the way here. Just call your broker. it was horrible driving conditions terre haute only 80 miles but it took 4hrs. made it here at 359 pm and not knowing that the dude in the black pickup truck i met coming in was their last person in the building.
