It may be bad getting gas, but just try and disconnect service! I converted from propane to natural gas in September 2014 and called to have my tank removed. The tank is relatively full. I was told that someone would come by to empty the tank and a refund would be issued. Someone would then come to remove the tank. Over a month passed and someone came by to remove the tank. He informed me that it would be a two man job since the tank was full (?), and he was not able to complete the removal. I have called and called, e-maile... read more
I was a new customer. Ordered propane gave them my credit card number has requested and they took money out immediately. Told me it would be at least 15 days for service. Then they didn't show up on days promised and no phone call. I will be getting a new propane company. Bad customer service.
Customer for 20plus years. After Ferrell gas was sold to a corporation their customers service and pricing went down hill. They changed buy-in end date so customers have to pay higher rate at end of Winter just to make more money and that is after you had to pay a fee to join the buy-in. They give people different buy-in prices and charge you a fee for equipment but never service tanks. Sadly, Ferrell Gas does not look out for their customer it's all about the money. I have used Ferrellgas since 2009 and have always had great service. They typically deliver my propane order within 1-2 days. Please note, I also monitor my tank and make sure I don't let it get so low that I'll run out before they can get there. Never had a problem with the staff or billing. Overall--satisfied.
My family has used Ferrell for years and find the company very reliable.
