Worst company to get propane from, and I am a 6+ year customer. They just get worse every single year, and I will be more than happy to switch to J&R this summer. I call and order at the suggested level and then like clockwork they never show up leaving my family without heat or a way to cook. I usually end up being without propane for OVER A WEEK!! We’ve been customers for over 20 years. The last few have been awful and we are shopping around. The delivery drivers are great- but the service overall has been nothing but stressful. So many rescheduled, or late deliveries, even though we order when we are supposed to. We were close to 5% the last delivery we received. My neighbor across the street just went empty this morning- even though she ordered it over two weeks ago and her tank was also replaced. Update: During a very cold stretch, my family was left without propane for days because Ferrellgas was behind. While I can understand perhaps there were extenuating circumstances for them, there was no communication from the company that could have helped mitigate the situation, and while customer service was always kind, they were not able to help offer any solution or concrete answers, and nothing was done to right the harm caused to my family, which included spending $100 on a space heater, the exorbitant electricity cost... read more
Absolutely terrible. Have to essentially beg for someone to show up and refill your tank, even when on autofill. Utterly pathetic. I wish I would have just been told a few months ago they didn’t have the staff to properly run the business, I would have never become a customer. The news articles are spot on, and the investigations are clearly needed.
Propane supplier? More like headache supplier. Started calling at 35%, all talk no show. got down to 18%, they couldn't even provide a date estimate and I went elsewhere. We own our tank and that is the only reason our house didn't freeze.
