Had to beg to accept my payment then took 3 weeks after that for delivery( because of weather in my area). Rain delay I assume. Then filled my take to charge me and additional $0.30. I'm not sure how petty a company can be
Logistics scheduling process is a disaster! You have to call every day to ask if you are on the schedule because they can only see what is scheduled for the current day. So they say. We put our order in when our tank had 30% as they suggest. We ran out of propane waiting on them! It took almost 3 weeks to get a delivery.
Took 15 days to get my order delivered. Automated system is useless to check on delivery status. Glad I didn't run out because then they charge an additional fee to "inspect & relight pilot light" that doesn't exist because the tank is for over & gas logs. They got me with that fee once before. Feels like the Walmart service of propane delivery.
My family has used Ferrell for over 25 years. I called to advise them to put my name on the bill as my wife died. Instead of doing that, they closed the account. Then I lost my auto-fill visits and ran out of gas when it was 19 degrees. It took four miserable days to get it straightened out and get a delivery. Keep in mind. I live alone. I am 79 years old with health issues and it still took four days.
The service was dispatched quickly to fulfill my order. However, the driver of the delivery truck is not careful about staying on the driveway, each delivery requires that I repair damage ( the ditch to the side of the driveway., which is not acceptable. My driveway is nine feet wide, the truck is 6 .5 feet or so wide, possibly seven feet. I am signed up for auto delivery , which apparently does not work well, as my tank got down to 9 % when I finally had to make a formal order.
