I get a tank fill a few times a year, almost $900.00 per fill and yet Ferrellgas still charges me tank rental every year. When Beatty Gas had it (prior to Ferrell) they never charged for rental after buying four dollar a gallon propane from them. Maybe its time to check out some of the other propane companies in my area.
The Delivery driver for the Marion Center Location is the man, great to deal with etc. However, we were placed on auto fill w/o our consent. Its been a constant price battle over what we were originally quoted. Then get penalized ($$$) for not using enough propane. Get a bill for tank rental every year, when we questioned the price of propane we were told its to compensate for their tank use. i was a little worried about getting what i needed to get my new Olympic torchbearer kiln hooked up . But when i called Ferrelgas my worries were over. They assured me they had the gas line and regulator that I needed . they came at the appointment time and had everything set up ! The kiln fired beautifully . Called in to get fuel because I came home from a weekend away and fuel was empty. They told me it could take up to a week to deliver it. I have 2 kids at home and they told me if I wanted it sooner I could pay them $250 more dollars on top of the almost $1,000 I was already paying. They waited the full 6 days to deliver it too. They didn't care if was only 20 degrees and my house was only 43 degrees inside.
