It was so good to look out and see the truck here filling it up, auto fill is great!
Service has always been good but with that being said - propane isn’t regulated so it’s like the Wild West with pricing. I mean, I understand supply and demand and everything but usually folks on propane don’t have access to natural gas. No real competition or regulation means gouging or other unscrupulous tactics can used on customers at will. Just saying.
I have been a customer for several years and delivery dates have always been within 10 days, but usually arrived in 5-7. For my last order, I had let my tank get lower than usual, but with typical delivery times there was no worries. However, my last order took two days short of THREE WEEKS to be delivered! We ordered and paid for gas on Jan. 19 and still do not have it. They cancelled delivery on Jan 29 for weather and since then with no explanation. We have been customers for over a decade and this is inexcusable. We have called four times and get nowhere. They can’t even tell us when to expect it. Apparently, they deliver as it suits them, not in the order that they receive payment for orders. I highly recommend looking somewhere else for propane service. After this experience, we will look elsewhere.
I was a little lax in keeping up with my tank level. I chose to report to Ferrell when I wanted the tank filled instead of auto fill. When the weather report turned bad, I finally checked my tank and found out I was low. I put in for a fill but didn't expect Ferrell Gas to respond quickly as I'm sure everyone else needed propane for the winter weather. To my surprise, Ferrell filled my tank within 2 days well before the bad weather hit.
