Ferrell Gas is good at responding to filling gas needs, but they are terrible about pricing and regularly jack up their prices far above their competitors. I have been shocked to find the delivery price is suddenly $1 more per gallon than Amerigas, and when I call FG to get an explanation or a better contract they evade an answer, obfuscate the billing methods and punt the answer to another call. I'm actively looking for an alternative...
We recently had our tank filled, the two delivery drivers were helpful and made sure to go over everything before they left. We were able to get the delivery scheduled quickly and they had no problem getting up our steep/windy driveway
I've been a customer for over twenty years, and have seen service keep improving during that time. It has been a couple of years since I've had to call to say my tanks need filling. Back when I did call occasionally, they got to me the same day or the next morning.
I generally like my service and LOVE being able to be on propane. My rural electricity was off the equivalent of 4 full days in May of 2024. I needed the safe guard that Propane provides and do not want to loose it. Sometimes, the auto fill fails, but this seems to be related to staff/capacity. This is why I am on auto fill and need it.
