Had a friend tell me that they smelled gas around my tank. I called ferrelgas. They were great at getting someone out. I kinda figured that it could be coming from the tank because it was just filled. It wasn't, witch was good. A guy name Luke checked he was good to deal with and seamed knowledgeable. They charged me $420.00 for the call .holly smokes! I was glad not to have a leak but I didn't think I'll call them to check out a gas leak again. $420 bucks! !!! Wow .
I love everything about Ferrell Gas except their pricing. Two other local Propane vendors charge $0.75 to $1.50 less per gallon. How??
Overall, I am disappointed with the service. I frequently get incorrect information. We have been calling for two weeks to receive propane. Each time we contact them, either by phone or in-person (twice) they assure us the gas is coming that day. It has never come. We live off-grid and rely on propane to run our house when the solar power is used up. We have been using one lamp and no appliances for two weeks and our house is very cold. Terrible Service & Untruthful Company Was told I am legally obligated to use Ferrellgas because they lease my home's tank to me, but they are unable or unwilling to share the lease agreement with me.Ordered propane refill that was not filled for 2 weeks resulting in 6 days/nights without heat and hot water. I was given several excuses: no overtime allowed for drivers, there's a snowstorm coming, did we cancel that order, we are backed up. Unacceptable all for almost double the cost of competitors. Avoid at all costs.
