I bought a home that used Ferrellgas, so I stayed with them through the winter. That was a mistake. The regular deliveries were priced higher than market and the last delivery went up over 15% which was a nearly 200 hundred dollar increase. Learned my lesson. They are predatory imo, like too many companies today. Will be switching. Already called some places that will do a price lock for 12 months. Much better deals available.
The recent mixup on pricing for customers in the Galena Territory caused home owners to compare prices and benefits of other providers. I believe going back to a pre-pay option Would be helpful in customer confidence.
You are great on delivery and keeping full. But I hate your customer service by phone. It takes way to long to speak to anyone.
I used to be a big fan of Ferrellgas. The delivery experience at my home and rental have been very good. Billing, however, is now a BIG problem. Added charges of $29.99 fees and being billed $12.00 rental fee for an owned tank are both negative and fraudulent. Their pricing, which had been very competitive, is quite a bit higher than competition. Our HOA has dumped them. Our home still uses them but it is doubtful they will keep our business given the billing issues.
