Your counselors should not be on social media telling people who believe in God that God has nothing to do with birth defects that it’s genetics. It’s very distasteful especially when they have their job plastered on their Facebook. Her name is Stefanie Weber btw!!

The Staff and providers at Ferre could not have been more professional and kind helping me and my husband to understand his family history and the available genetic testing. They have been working to support families in upstate NY for more than 40 years. I highly recommend this organization.

Ferre Genetics is the only independent, nonprofit Genetic Counseling organization in NYS, and it shows! They go above and beyond to provide genetic counseling, testing, research, and resources. They truly care about their patients and families, and will continue to be a resource for all of your genetic needs years beyond your initial visit. If you are in need of Genetics Services, you must give them a call and urge your doctor to refer you. Life changing!

Horrible experience working with this organization. It has been over 1 year since I submitted my sample, and I have still not received my results. Originally, my referral from my primary care doctor was misplaced by them; it took ~2 months to get things started, but I brushed that off. I sent in my sample in October '21, and I pretty much forgot that I even sent it in until a month or two ago. (it's now Nov '22 at the time of writing this).
