Our a/c stopped working during the heatwave making the house almost unbearable to stay in (35 C inside). Called Fern’s & they sent someone out to check on our unit promptly. We found out it needed replacing & 2 days later we had the new a/c installed & cooling the house down once again. Spoke with both Fern & his son Alex, both were very professional & courteous. Very organized, very professional, they cleaned up 100%. Air conditioner works 100%. Large crew showed up and they were done within a few hours. And best price in town
they installed my AC unit 2 months back and recently returned for a service call for a separate issue. Alex was punctual and friendly.
We called Fern’s to assist us with furnace repair a few years ago. Fern showed up on the way to dinner with his wife on his anniversary. We were so impressed we called again when our heat went out this week. Alex showed up and ran some tests and had the furnace working. 24 hrs later the heat went out again. Alex promptly returned and figured out it was Hyrdo’s outdoor regulator that was frozen, and also found some things were not up to code for distance between the hydro meter and the sump hose exit. 5 Star Company!!! We had an incredibly positive experience with Alex and the entire Fern's H&AC team that we dealt with from beginning to end! We had Fern's help us with some A/C challenges last year and they gave us a quote on a new unit at our request at the same time.
