I had an adenotonsillectomy a few weeks back with Dr. Burke. I ended up hemorrhaging the day of the surgery, and I was aware this was a risk. The actual bleeding itself is typically an easy fix, but Dr. Burke left town and had no one on call to take care of me. Dr. Gomez-Rivera was not on call, but like an angel came in to take care of me.
