I went to see Dr Fernandez in late February after being referred by another orthopedic doctor. I fully expected to leave her office with a date for surgery for a tear of a tendon in my elbow. After examining me and looking at my history she assured me surgery would almost certainly not be required. Instead we did PRP injections and lots of physical therapy.
