Update! Mark from Fermax Queensland followed my cameras’ issue and he found and sent another electrician who had much experiences of many issues of CCTVs. After two hours work, all cameras came back to work. Cameras didn’t work, not because they were broken but because they were disconnected from NVR. The customer service in Sydney could just connect tech team to me to solve the issue but they didn’t for some reasons(?). Anyway, the cameras are still working in a good condition now. I have installed four cameras and two are dead within two years, 50% of cameras’ failures. They were installed by the electrician properly and they just stayed on the wall. The customer service said the warranty is only 12 months. So I have to buy two more cameras in two years…? Honestly, I have extra $50-100 wireless outdoor cameras from Amazon are last longer than this expensive system… An electrician from other company came and checked the cameras and he said there was no reset button. Honest and helpful service. Thought I needed a new intercom handset, but he showed me it was just a quick magnet adjustment. Saved me money—highly recommend!
Stay away from Fermax Australia security and Intercom systems...we were told by Brisbane owner that these are "Made in China so rubbish in comparison to other products on the market" ...The 12 month warranty on Fermax Australia security and Intercom systems is not to the standards we expected ... we have had multiple access door station keypads on our front gate FAIL in the last few years not allowing us keypad entry to our property. ...the last one was soon after the 12 month warranty and the Brisbane fermax owner did not c... read more
